Duck River Reservoir Project
Duck River from south of Tanner Bridge

South of Tanner bridge view of Duck River slideshow #4 - The water is fairly shallow with a rocky bottom and sandy banks allowing trees to fall across the river. Looking downstream.

#5 - A little further upstream of #4. Quiet clear water with some silt from recent rains. Looking downstream toward the site of the dam.

#6 - Looking upstream from the same position as #5. You can barely see Tanner bridge. Looking north.

The Duck River Reservoir site is located 3 miles east of Cullman
just ½ mile north of U.S. Highway 278, on the Duck River.
Tanner bridge is the first crossing of the river north of the site where the dam is to be built.
