14th Annual Rocket City Rally Results

AKA "Great Chicken Rally"

Winner:  The winner of the new R1150R given away May 25th at the awards ceremony was Chris Kochengur of Pennsylvania. Congratulations Chris!

People:  There were 627 people who attended (up from 588 last year) from 25 states and 1 foreign country, Bermuda.

Solo Event - Slow Race
   1st place - Sonny Johns
   2nd place - Charles Cloud

  Puzzle Race
   1st place - Sonny Johns & Skirt
   2nd place - Ethan & Harry Wilson
  Wet T-shirt contest (T-shirt throw)
   1st place - Wayde Barnes and Wayde Barnes II
   2nd place - Hiram Basemore & ?
Weather:  The weather was perfect; cool the first two days and warm and breezy Saturday and Sunday. No rain.
Donations: The remaining chicken, cole slaw, loaves of bread plus butter and canned goods were donated to the Breaking Free Rescue Mission.
Special thanks goes to Venture BMW Motorcycles of Birmingham for providing demo rides and Meadow Gold Dairies for providing a refrigerator truck. Let's not forget all you who pitched in large and small to make this a great rally. Without all the volunteer help, we wouldn't have been able to pull off one of the best rallies in the country.
